Impressionistic Point Of View
I have always admired the Impressionists such as Monet, Renoir, Bonnard and many others who shrived to paint delightfully beautiful colorful paintings filled with light.
This group of paintings are my impression of the environment that surrounds me. My focus is on the relationship of one color against another, one shape next to another, grey next to bright, soft edges next to hard edges.
I hope to allow the paintings unfold as it wishes without my meddling. Hopefully in the end the painting will have a life of its own.
