Imagine a week of painting in one of the most beautiful Mexican towns! San Miguel de Allende is known for it’s artistic character and inspiration. It draws artists from around the world to breathe in its creative surroundings. Join our small group on this adventure to warmer weather and art.
About the Workshop: The focus of this workshop will be to capture the flavor of this charming Mexican town with it’s artistic ambiance. We will paint most days and take a couple of excursions. You will be guided in creating successful paintings with emphasis on good design, color, and content. There will be demos each day and lots of painting time, critiques, and one-on-one attention. The focus will be loose and vibrant watercolors that portray the beauti ful scenery, and most importantly, paintings
with emotional content.Whatever your level of painting, your work will take a leap during these focused several days.
Accommodations: From its hillside location just above historic central San Miguel, Casa Alta Vista provides stunning panoramic views of the town and surrounding mountains (see picture below and right). Be entranced by some of the world’s most breathtaking sunsets. Double rooms with private bath, limited single rooms available for an added charge.
